The MEA is pleased to make available an English translation of Decision (193) of the Minister of Economy of Libya regarding the participation of foreign companies in joint ventures, which sets out conditions for opening branch offices and representation offices. This Decision is based on Law 23/2010 (Commercial Law).

Points of interest  include: Nature of joint venture companies, sector prohibitions on joint venture companies and sectors within which branches of foreign companies can operate.
